Our patterns go through extensive testing for both fit and accuracy. Behind the scenes, we have a core group of 50 testers to pull from when a new pattern is in the making.
We are human and there is a chance that you may stumble upon an occasional mistake, if that’s the case, send us an email [sewtoot@live.com].  All corrections will be noted here on this page.

Baby size body panel redrafted to widen neck area to match original version–  5″ opening should be 6.5″.

Option B hood snap setting —  added 6″ setting distance for baby size panel

Fabric requirements updated to reflect vertical pattern rather than horizontal, decreasing overall fabric requirements

Pocket flap pattern piece for active style corrected. [Pocket piece is okay]

Fabric requirements error corrected– previously read 1/8 yard for contrasting strap fabric.

[1/05/17]   Barefoot Bucklebu >> The Riser

The Barefoot Bucklebu is [effective today] renamed The Riser.
This renaming is a small step to ensure that the history of the carrier style [onbuhimo] will not be lost or overlooked.

-Updated fabric requirements

-Fixed typo on pattern pieces

Pattern piece shape and general instructions remain the same

Complete pattern overhaul and cover redesign. Reprinting recommended.

Strap webbing length adjusted to 13″ [still within 13.5′ webbing allotment].  This is reflected in the cutting list and strap assembly instructions.
